Coarse-granining module

Users can access to the coarse-graining module by means of Coarse graining tab located on the the left hand side menu. This tab is enabled once the users load a scenario. Figure 51 shwows the appeareance of the coarse-graining module:

1. List of Meshes

   This section shows the list of meshes where the discrete DEM data will be projects by means of the coarse-graining processing. It also allows users to change the color and render mode of the meshes.

2. Coarse-grainning settings

   This section allows users to defined the settings for the coarse-graining processing. It is composed of three different tabs:

   • Input

   • Averaging

   • Output

3. Rendering area

4. Views toolbar

5. Coarse-graining processing control

   • Save: it allows users to save the settings of the coarse-graining analysis.

   • Start: it launch the coarse-graining processing. Note that it will also save the settings of the coarse- graining analysis.
