Cylinder

This feature creates a cylinder represented as a mesh composed of tethrahedral elements:

  • Direction (required): Users can select between pre-defined directions (X, Y or Z) or a custom direction for the normal to the base of the cylinder .

  • Normal (required): normal vector to the base of the cylinder (only applicable for custom direction).

  • Base centre (required): location of the center point of the base.

  • Radius (required): radius of the cylinder.

  • Height (required): size of the cylinder along the normal direction to the base.

  • Element Size (required): target length of the edges of the tetrahedral elements of the cylinder.
